What do guys think about girls who like musicals?
I’m a dancer and I love musicals, and I mean mostly the old musicals like: Singing in the Rain, Brigadoon, Oklahoma!, the King and I, Fiddler on the Roof. Rogers & Hammerstein, Gene Kelly, Cyd Charisse, Bob Fosse, all of those. I have all the soundtracks for them on my iPod, and people don’t know what to make of it. Just a silly thought: would it bother a boyfriend if his girlfriend listened to that kind of music, or watched those movies? Or would he find it interesting and cute and get to love that part of her?

I think that’s awesome. It wouldn’t bother me but, maybe I would think it’s a little weird if that’s all you listened to or if you watched them a lot. lol

It depends on the person, everyone is different so it might not matter, if your boyfriend has the same interest, thats great it will help the relationship, if not, then there are new interests to explore, but if he doesn’t like it, don’t force him to like it. Personally I have seen 2 musical feature films, and as a logical person it was very hard for me to focus on what the characters were saying (as I had to "re-translate" everything they said), the only musical I really liked was from the Scrubs episode "My Musical", very entertaining, and clear with the language at the same time.
